Avoid
internally used names in your survey questions.
Don't
assume that your survey respondents use the same terms for your
products, features, or concepts that you use internally (or even
officially). Definitely avoid slang and nicknames that are
used in your organization. Also beware terms that may have different
meanings due to the context. For example, does "casual wear"
have the same meaning for a suit retailer as it does at a sporting
wear store?
